Fashion Show: Friday, August 13, 2021 at 8 PM ET

Welcome and thank you for your interest in our BCSF 2021 Fashion Show! This year's theme is ~ANIMATED~. Choose a character (or few) that you'd like to dress as--but with your own unique flare! (see our promo video for an example) Feel free to draw inspirations from your favorite animes, films, books, TV series, etc. Creativity is unlimited and anything goes!

This is a VIRTUAL fashion show with a competition component. Participants will be judged on how they express their unique styles through their character(s) of choice while exemplifying our heavenly culture. Winners will take home cash prizes: $300 for 1st place, $200 for 2nd place, and $100 for 3rd place.

Guidelines:

  1. You must be registered for BCSF 2021 before you can submit to the Fashion Show. You can register here: bcsfusa.com/register

  2. There are only 30 spots due to time limitations. We will accept all submissions until the deadline of 11:59 PM PT on Tuesday, August 10th, and our core team will select 30 to be presented at the Fashion Show competitively.

  3. Models will have the chance to style themselves based on our theme of “Animated.”

  4. Since the fashion show is virtual this year, you will have to film yourself with your fits!

    1. Keep to 3-5 outfits in 5 minutes or less.

    2. Video editing is not required but appreciated.

    3. Bonus!: shoot in a location related to your character

  5. You can be as creative as you want with your video as well! Just please make sure to film horizontally.

  6. All submissions must be uploaded via the Google Form from the button below.

How to Win:

  1. On Friday, August 13th at 8 PM EST, we will be hosting the 2021 BCSF Fashion Show! Although this is virtual, please be present at the event! You’ll be able to vote and see all the other models.

  2. We will be judging the models in two ways:

    • a text-to-vote system with the audience

    • a core panel of judges who will make the final votes

  3. We will announce the winners at the closing ceremonies on Sunday, Aug 15th at 4 PM EST. Please be present at the closing ceremonies! If you are not able to attend, please let us know beforehand.
